Gear Stream Free Agile Training Program Reaches 250 Clients

RALEIGH, NC - Sep 14, 2010 -- Gear Stream, The Agile Enterprise Transformation leader, announced today that their free Agile Courseware program has grown to over 250 member companies who are now actively teaching Agile and Scrum process and engineering classes utilizing Gear Stream’s free courseware material.

The Gear Stream Agile Courseware program provides completely free coaching and training materials for those responsible for teaching fundamental Agile process and collaboration practices to business and IT teams seeking a more adaptive software and product development lifecycle.

“When we first launched the program in 2010 we knew there was a need to offer clients a way to help teams get started with Agile who may have lacked the funding to purchase expensive Agile and Scrum training” said Brad Murphy, Founder and CEO of Gear Stream, Inc.  “Clients have continued to sign-up and use our materials and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.  Naturally at some point clients will need and want outside help, but with our free courseware materials any company can get started without the need for large Agile training budgets. “

“We’re currently building additional  materials for our free Agile Training Courseware program that we’ll be releasing in Q1 of 2011 and believe this will help us to double the number of clients using our materials in 2011”.
